OUR ACTIVITIES
This is a list of the activities wehave got upto with the Warson family, some are also from my friends..
*Appear in different places every day, some visible, some not.
*Hide for a few days – but leave notes for the children to find me.
*Hide in the freezer with a note about "your somewhere that's like home".
*Leave small gifts/sweets or notes most days.
*Write a list for Santa with what's going on…….good and bad.
*Take pictures and write in a notebook about your adventures.
*We need "snow" on us every night to remind us of home (hole punched paper OR make a "bag" of magic snow – hole punched paper and polystyrene balls, completely sealed then you don't have to clean it up!)
*We like playing with the children's toys over night!
*I have sat on the Christmas tree with your camera tripod set up to get a picture where I am decorating it.
*I have hung from Christmas lights in windows.
*Myself and the toys have had "snowball fights" with cotton wool balls found in the bathroom cupboard.
*We have decorate the children's bedrooms with snowflakes to feel like home.
*I have sneaked out for McDonalds – and been found with the wrappers in the morning!
*I have hung candy canes about the house.
*We like playing Christmas games on the internet.
*I like to colour Christmas pictures with the other toys, but leave some pictures for the children to do.
*When I was found drinking alcohol I was made to stay at the north pole the following year!
*We watch Christmas movies at night to make sure they are safe for the children to watch.
*I made a zip line from the Christmas tree across the living room with fishing line and a straw.
*I wrote Elf jokes and left them around the house.
*I have taken pictures next to everyone in the house whilst they are asleep.
*I like to leave notes in the boys school bags/lunchboxes.
*In order to get to know the children better we write questions for them to answer.
*At the end of the day i love to listen to Christmas music on the cd player or I-pod.
*I put a toilet roll trail from the bathroom right around the house.
*I was found riding the children's bikes in the house.
* I built a tower from DVDs and books to get the chocolates on the side.
*"Mum" had make a cake and I put my fingers in icing (HeHeHe).
*We added underwear to the Christmas tree.
*I tried to help wrap some presents but got stuck in the wrapping paper.
*Me and the toys set up a campfire in front of the Christmas tree (use a glade candle) and roasted mini-marshmallows on sticks (toothpicks).
*I turned the Christmas tree lights on before everyone gets up.
*I got the Children to make "Elf masks" and wear them 1 day (I made the template in paint!).
*The boys found me writing in my diary on the pc.
*We were found on facebook on the pc.
*We tried to build "elf's" and "elf houses" from lego.
*I was found one the morning with mum/dads phone and a text message typed for Santa.
*I went fishing in the fish tank, but didnt catch anything.
*I have sets of clues and send the children on a scavenger/treasure hunt.
*My friend Jingle from USA was found with an ice-pak on his head, thermometer in his mouth and a note asking for peppermint tic-tacs - 1 had to be taken at bedtime for 3 days.
*I left the kids a shopping list and "elf cards" (store gift cards with money on) so they could go shopping for me as I cant be seen in town.
*I wrote a message on the mirror with "mums" lipstick, but I did get her a new one as replacement.
*We made a cd of "elf music and songs", including songs with the boys names in.
*We have set up a profile on the wii fit and been on the balance board.
*Jingle-Jangle dyed the toilet water GREEN using food colouring (and stained the pan for 2 days! OOPS!).
*I love writing and seeing my name - whether it be with cheerios on the counter, in the snow with a stick, paper pieces on the floor etc.
*We made an "elf-angels" in the snow! (and in flour on the worktop)
*We made green pancake mix for family to use for tea.
*We brought tickets to a show at the theatre.
*I painted dad's toe nails as a practise run for mums, it went wrong so I left mum a voucher for salon instead.
*I have brought advent calendars on December 1st.
*I like to read, and have been found on the book shelf but I did leave a new book.
*The boys have loads of trains and cars which I built a track for.
*I put decorations up for a different holiday - halloween.
*I like leaving the children crafts to make.
*I have climbed on the ceiling light and watched everyone.
*On the last day of term I wraped the boys school uniform in Christmas paper.
*This year I am going to cover the childrens bedroom doors in Christmas wrapping paper so they have to burst out.
*I made a sledge from cardboard and slide down the banister.
*Having a bath of marshmallows in a bowl is soooo relaxing.
*I have put post-it notes everywhere saying it is now the property of me!
*I have left new pjs for the boys to wear on Christmas eve.
*I asked "mum" if I could put mini Christmas trees in the boys bedrooms.
*I moved the beanbags and cushions around.
*I am going to buy or make a Christmas pinata, fill with goodies and hang it from the ceiling.
*I made a quiz about Christmas for the children to do.
*I have made a pyramid from tins in the cupboard and decorated with tinsel and me at the top.
